Committing to go on this pilgrimage has been a pilgrimage in itself. From first hearing this idea proposed by Jesika around a late night campfire last summer to finalizing dates and tickets and giving notice at work has involved no few steps and no few blisters – with many more, no doubt, to come. Perhaps that is how it is meant to be.
