The Walking Continues
We have been walking through hilly, forested country with medieval villages every few kilometres. It has been scenic and we are getting into the walking routine, though we still arrive tired and with sore feet at the albergues. Next, we will go through Rioja, the famous wine country.
Tomorrow we will arrive in Puenta la Reina, where our walking trail will merge with the larger Camino Frances route. If there are too many people walking, we plan to head to Bilboa and continue our pilgrimage along the Norte Camino, which follows the Atlantic coast.
