Pyrenees
Well, it certainly is hot. Thankfully it´s a little cooler in the Pyrenees than it was in Barcelona. The last 2 days we hiked along a small river in which we could dip our feet and cool off. The scenery is spectacular, both the mountains and the buildings through the pass. Canfranc is a ski resort, like a mini-Banff, and this time of year there are a few hikers exploring the trails. Not many pilgrims at all, but local people have been most helpful in pointing us to the pilgrim hostels or back to the trail.
Glad you found your way out of Barcelona!! I am sure you are enjoying yourselves a lot.
